What is the rental process?

The rental process takes place through email and phone.  We usually receive an email via our contact form or phone call from a person interested in renting the PVL after they have explored our website.  If it is an email, we respond as soon as possible with availability information and additional details. 

When you are ready to reserve the PVL, just call 800-664-9143 to complete the process.  You will reach either Lorrie or Al.  We confirm all of your information and collect a credit card number, expiration date and CVV.  You may pay with credit card or by check.  We do not collect a security deposit, but we do keep your credit card information on file in the unlikely event of loss or damage to the home.

You will be sent a Rental Agreement, explaining our policies and detailing the financial transaction.  We collect a 50% deposit.  Full payment is due 45 days before your arrival. If you rent within that 45 day window, 100% is due when you rent.

When the complete rental balance is paid, you will receive a Final Confirmation email with thorough instructions on contact information, how to get to the PVL, the lock-box code for the key, and much more.
