There are plenty of wetlands around the PVL to explore and play in. Our son, Nathan is about to go rafting in the beaver ponds that are less than 400 feet from the front of PVL. Green is everywhere through September. This same pond is an excellent ice skating rink in the winter. |

This view is from dirt road that leads to Mosquito Pass, the highest continuous road in Colorado. This particular spot is about a six mile drive from PVL. There is lots of breath taking scenery all around this area. |
