Cook your own master pieces in the PVL's fully equipped kitchen.
Enjoy your culinary delights on the fine dishes with the view
of mountain forest and two beautiful 14'ers out the windows.
There are enough place settings for 12, but the PVL is also
ideal for small, more intimate getaways.

The dining room table can seat eight comfortably. There is
room for five more at the nearby kitchen breakfast bar.

After dinner take a short stroll down to Montgomery Reservoir,
just .5 miles from the PVL. This view is from last February
when the lake was frozen. Behind the reservoir is an old mining
ruin and you can hike to the top of 3 14'rs (mountains over
14,000 feet).

 |
The huge master bedroom and king sized bed ensure that you
never feel cramped while at the PVL. The bed is extremely comfortable
and the bedroom overlooks the forest.
|
 |
The master bath consists of two rooms, so one person can shower
while another uses the sink. Again, there is plenty of extra
space for moving about.

This view is from dirt road that leads to Mosquito Pass, the
highest continuous road in Colorado. This particular spot is
about a six mile drive from PVL. There is lots of breath taking
scenery all around this area.
|
 |
There are plenty of wetlands around the PVL to explore and
play in. Nathan is about to go rafting in the beaver ponds that
are less than 400 feet from the front of PVL. Green is everywhere
through September. This same pond is an excellent ice skating
rink in the winter.

This is the view from PVL to the south,
overlooking the wetlands and beaver ponds just in front of the
lodge. The beauty of this valley is intoxicating. |
