Families can choose from themed train rides, like a murder mystery dinner, as well as regularly scheduled lunch and dinner tours.  The most popular rides during the summer months are the open cars on old-fashioned narrow gauge steam locomotives.  Trips can also include a stop at local mine, such as the Lebanon Silver Mine, where visitors can get off the train and take an optional guided tour. 

One very popular train ride is the one that operates out of the Leadville depot.  During the summer months, this train winds through the breathtaking Rocky Mountain landscape and follows the headwaters of the Arkansas River.  Special murder mystery tours and “wildflower viewing” rides are available too.
