Are you considering a Colorado cabin rental for your Breckenridge, CO area vacation? Whether you are planning a trip to Colorado to visit one of their world-class ski resorts, go mountain climbing, or white water rafting on the famous Colorado River, finding the right place to stay will make your vacation more enjoyable.
Unlike other areas of the country, renting a Colorado vacation home is usually a much better option than staying in a hotel. Colorado vacation rentals are a lot cozier, more spacious, and offer better views of the Rocky Mountains than hotel rooms. When traveling with a large family or planning a multi-family vacation, Colorado mountain homes are more economical too.
If you’ve ever visited the state of Colorado for a mountain getaway, then you may already know a little about the famous 14'ers. But for the uninitiated, a “fourteener” in Colorado is a mountain with a peak that is above 14,000 feet. These awe-inspiring centerpieces of the Colorado Rockies include 54 peaks that exceed 14,000 feet, and they attract more than 500,000 people each year. The Colorado mountain range with the largest number of fourteeners is the Sawatch Range, at 15, and the San Juan Range not far behind. But in the Mosquito Range near our vacation rental cabin near Breckenridge is a fourteener known as Mount Democrat, and that's the mountain I call home.
Once you’ve seen all the major attractions in Breckenridge Colorado and experienced the range of summer activities on Copper Mountain, you may have worked up a healthy appetite. If you are staying in our Colorado cabin vacation home, then why not cook up a sensational dinner for the whole family?
